Sam Oxley Sam is the co-founder of Art in Public, a public art consultancy. She has 17 years experience working in PR, latterly as Managing Partner of a consumer PR agency. Now a senior culture, placemaking and marcomms consultant, Sam is interested in forging innovative collaborations across the creative industries to create work and campaigns that positively influence our human experience in the places we live and work.

Payal Wadhwa

Payal is Service Design Principal at Idean and a committed inter-disciplinarian. She worked in architectural and urban planning for over 8 years before moving to the world of digital and tech scale-ups/spin-outs. Her practice sits firmly on the intersections of digital and physical design, crafting holistic service experiences, shaping disruptive tech ventures and facilitating organisational and cultural change. She uses design as a lens for advocating better policy making, engagement with ethics and business futures, often in complex situations and international environments.

Lisa Jones

Lisa’s passion for the built environment was born when she was a touring musician. Travelling from city to city and across the world, she encountered a diverse mix of cultures, personalities, design elements, places and infrastructures. Now more settled in London, she channels her art & wardrobe director’s eye and creative energy into event production, public art and placemaking strategies for the likes of Barclays, Hilton Hotels or Harvey Nichols. Lisa believes that transparency, shared perspectives and collective experimentation can build healthier, evolving places that work for everyone.

Dan Moscrop

Dan founded specialist graphic design agency Them in 2004, designing for the built environment to capture the brand essence, stories and culture of blue-chip businesses and finding interesting and engaging ways to present it within their workplace. Design support for commercial architects, developers and interior designers creating original and engaging interior graphics for 3D spaces.

Julien Clin

French and German but passionate Londoner, Julien’s background is in Literature and Journalism. He has worked as a foreign correspondent in Berlin, and as a documentary producer — among others, on a film about cities’ measures to fight air pollution, which won the German Environmental Journalism Award. He approaches Place with an academic and story-telling perspective. He is currently reading for a PhD in the Poetics of Place and ideas of Home in cities.
